It has been decided that the website needed to be given a bit of a make over. When I first took over a couple of years ago I just wanted a proper working website now I feel that now it needs a look to match the content. So the backend CMS is being upgrade to the latest version and that then allows us to use some very special software to change the look and feel of the site. The software allows you to create templates for the site with out the need to learn CSS. Those that know me unjderstand that any form of coding and brakets makes me twitch and brings me out in a rash. Further more I am about as artisic as piece of unsmoke haddock!

Please can you all remember to sign out at LGC; wipe your name off of the board.

I have had a call from LGC complaining that this is not being done.

This is important to all airspace users as, when they are grounded, they call Luton to allow them to open up the airspace. Yet, there have been several occassions when he has been unable to do so because names are still on the board suggesting that we are still using the airspace.
He thinks that it is unlikely that there was anybody flying as it was too rough for them but he cannot risk risking one of us so has kept the airspace closed.

Please remember to sign out as quickly as you can once you have finished flying.
Andrew of LGC also told me that the reception door is left unlocked after hours so you can sign out at night too.
