 The AGM will take place on Wednesday 25th March at the Dunstable Cricket Club. 19:30 for a 20:00 start.

The AGM itself does not need to take long and simply consists of volunteers putting their names forward and being voted in for the new committee.

So, we are also using the opportunity to have another social. There will be videos to watch, friends to catch up with and beer. Many coaches and experienced pilots will be attending so if you'd like a chat about any aspect of the flying or the club then please do seize the opportunity and come along.

The order of events will be that all comittee members will resign and all positions will be up for grabs.

The three vital positions are:
Chairman - Chairs monthly meetings, tries to maintian order and that all actions are carried through. Acts as primary contact with BHPA
Secretary - Minutes the meetings and distributes.
Safety Office - Looks after club safety issue. Liases with BHPA safety office. Incident reports, organises repack night, recieves safty bulletins from BHPA (and others) and publishes to membership.

Other positions are:
Treasurer - Writes cheques, pays them in. maintains income and expense spreadsheet.
Lead Coaches - sign off annual coach renewals and organises coaching events
Membership Secretary - Sends our membership reminders.  Maitains list of current members who have paid, ratings, signed off, etc
Social Secretary - also known as beer and curry monster
Airspace - Liases with NATS to ensure that we get the LOA renewed and continue to fly Dunstable
Competitions - Arranges a Dunstable team and enters comps
Site Liasons - Maintains good relationships with land owners and air space sharers and makes sure that fees have been paid.
Newsletter editor - collects your stories and makes a quarterly newsletter
Webmaster - maintains the website, forum and gallery. ensures that Weather station info and webcam are broadcast.
Weather station admin - maintains the weather station and webcam hosted in the Chilterns Gateway centre

Once the positions have been filled the videos and social activities will commence.
